Job Description

As a security guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. You are employed by Securitas, but you work under the regulations of the Swedish Police Authority. Your main task is to make people feel safe in their daily lives. You do this by being present in public places, which hopefully has a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to take action.

Securitas has varied assignments that in one way or another make a significant impact on other people's lives, and here you have the opportunity to make a real difference!

You will be based at our client sites in Stockholm and will primarily work varied shifts. The employment is on an as-needed basis, but standard working hours may apply upon agreement.

Requirements

We are looking for you who are a confident and stable person who can keep your cool even when much is happening around you. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded in your interactions with the public, but you also understand the responsibility of your role and can remain objective when required. Great importance will be placed on your personal suitability for the role.

• You have a security guard education and a valid security guard permit.
• Approved grades in Swedish from the first year of upper secondary school.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Category B driver's license.

• The position is an on-demand employment with start date upon agreement. We apply a 6-month probation period.

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, you are required to have approved grades from the first year of upper secondary school in Swedish and be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be required. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements for approval under the respective legislation, a background check is conducted. The assessment covers law-abidingness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information collected may come from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on a collective agreement between the employer organization Säkerhetsföretagen and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
