How You Will Make an Impact

• Lead and develop a team of professional design engineers, set clear goals, and support their growth.
• Responsible for mechanical design and development of refurbishment solutions for components and systems for medium-sized gas turbines.
• Guide your team in testing, modifying, and validating prototypes and mechanical products and assemblies.
• Manage design workflows and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest quality.
• Collaborate with marketing, industrial design, and sister organizations to tailor product development to customer needs and drive continuous improvements.

What You Bring

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• You have extensive experience in mechanical product development, preferably within the energy, aviation, or gas turbine industry.
• You have documented leadership experience and have led and developed engineering teams.
• You are skilled in mechanical product design, refurbishment technology, and have good knowledge of CAD tools.
• You are proficient in stakeholder management, process improvement, and technical communication.

About the Team

You will become part of the Service Product Development and Engineering organization, where your leadership ensures business continuity and operational excellence for the Head of Refurbishment & Design function. The team is dedicated to delivering innovative refurbishment solutions for medium-sized gas turbines and collaborates closely with Overhauls and Parts, the Project Management Office, and design departments within CDE. Together, you will tackle complex engineering challenges, drive process improvements, and support Siemens Energy's commitment to reliability and sustainability.

Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero- or low-emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines, and generators.
