We are looking for a Coordinator for Supply Services at Gävle Hospital
The Logistics and Service area has a regional responsibility for delivering internal logistics and services to hospitals and health centers throughout Region Gävleborg. We have approximately 170 employees spread across Gävle, Sandviken, Hudiksvall, Söderhamn, and Ljusdal. We are constantly working to develop processes, standardize methods, and minimize waste, always focusing on quality, working environment, and improvement. Our mission is to ensure that the right services are delivered with the right content, in the right way, and at the right time.
Supply Services is responsible for providing consumables to the healthcare operations at Gävle Hospital. The role involves ordering, receiving, unpacking, and signing for delivery of materials used in daily care. By ensuring that departmental storages are correctly stocked and that materials are delivered on time, we contribute to efficient, quality-assured, and well-functioning logistics. The operation is a vital part of the hospital's internal supply chain and plays a central role in creating the conditions for safe and effective care. The work is carried out in close collaboration with healthcare operations, suppliers, and internal transport functions.
We are now looking for a Coordinator for Supply Services, where you will have a key role in daily operations, responsible for leading and distributing work, as well as contributing to the development of the operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Coordinator, you are responsible for planning, leading, and following up on the daily operations within Supply Services. You ensure that work is conducted efficiently and with quality assurance by coordinating resources, supporting employees, and contributing to the development of the operation's logistics flows and working methods.
Main responsibilities:
- Plan and direct daily work within Supply Services.
- Ensure efficient flows for ordering, receiving, unpacking, and restocking.
- Staff and distribute resources based on operational needs.
- Support personnel administration and the introduction of new employees.
- Participate in and drive improvement work related to logistics flows and working methods.
- Monitor quality, delivery security, and deviations.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is structured and has an easy time planning and organizing work efficiently. You take initiative and work proactively to solve challenges and develop the operation. The role also requires flexibility as the workday may change based on operational needs. Since the role involves many contact points, you value collaboration and contribute to good relationships by being receptive, non-hierarchical, and solution-oriented.
As a Coordinator, you should have:
- A high school education in logistics, commerce, or economics, or alternatively other education or work experience that the employer deems equivalent.
- Experience in a coordinating role or leadership in operational activities.
- Very good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Good skills in the Office package, especially Excel.
It is an advantage if you have post-secondary education in logistics or supply chain management, as well as experience in change and improvement work.
