About the role

Your task is to provide quality of life. You see every individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs. Thanks to you, those living with us can maintain their lifestyle and habits. At the same time, you develop valuable knowledge about care, service, and aging.

As a specially trained nursing assistant, you play a key role in a team with nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and care staff who work closely together. Based on your competence, your assignment will include operational improvement and development work. You mentor and train according to a developed plan. We expect you to work independently and flexibly from a professional approach with the ability to see opportunities. You are accustomed to using technology and digital tools in your work and consider it a matter of course to work process-oriented and structured based on implementation plans, action plans, and follow-ups. You will support the care work based on needs. On the unit, you will have another colleague who is trained as a specialist nursing assistant in dementia, so together you will provide support and advice to the care staff.

About Kavlagården

Kavlagården is a pleasant and well-regarded nursing home in central Huskvarna, operated on behalf of Jönköping Municipality. Here, there are 46 bright and well-planned apartments distributed across five units, two of which are specifically focused on care and support for people with dementia.

Here, you work in a safe and homely environment where the individual's needs, participation, and quality of life are in focus. The residence is characterized by a person-centered approach, close collaboration between different professions, and a great commitment to creating a meaningful everyday life for the residents.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a specially trained nursing assistant in elderly or palliative care, or alternatively a Silvia nurse. This means, in addition to basic training as a nursing assistant of at least 1450 credits, a specialist education at a university college equivalent to 200 university college credits.

Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also meritorious.
