Your responsibilities

We are now looking for dedicated and flexible personal assistants who want to improve the everyday life, future, and quality of life for the people of Linköping!

In the role of a personal assistant, you support individuals with disabilities in their daily lives to create a meaningful existence. The tasks vary greatly depending on who you work for and may include:

  • Personal care, mobility assistance, and medication management.
  • Healthcare interventions such as delegated tasks for feeding tubes, catheters, and medication.
  • Household chores, leisure activities, and social contacts.
  • Documentation and creation of implementation plans based on IBIC (Individual Needs in Focus).

Your workplace

We are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant, either attached to specific clients or as part of our new day and night patrol. Since the operations are in a startup phase, you will have a unique opportunity to help shape our working methods and contribute to a good work environment from the start.

As a personal assistant, you will operate either from a specific client's home or from our central base in Linköping. You will work both independently and with colleagues in double staffing depending on the client's needs. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

For those working in the patrol, the role involves a high degree of flexibility, as you need to be able to support different clients at short notice when needed. This requires you to adapt quickly to different home environments.

As a new employee, you will receive an introduction tailored to the assignment. We place great emphasis on good communication, collaboration, and competence development to ensure high quality in our assistance cases and good conditions for our employees.

You who apply

We are looking for you with work experience from one of the following industries: healthcare, support and care, service, retail, or hospitality, or other related activities involving contact with and service to others. It is considered an advantage if you have a completed upper secondary education, preferably from the healthcare and care program, child and youth program, or other education deemed equivalent. Previous experience as a personal assistant is seen as an advantage. It is also desirable that you have experience with intellectual and/or physical disabilities and experience handling technical aids. Further advantages include knowledge of mobility techniques and alternative augmentative communication.

We would appreciate that you have experience with documentation, implementation plans, and working based on IBIC. Since the work involves customer contact and documentation, you need to be proficient with computers and able to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish. A B-class driver's license is an advantage as we use a car for work in some cases.

You who apply are secure, stable, and self-aware, and you view relationships in their proper perspective. It is important that you can distinguish between the personal and professional. We also look for someone with good collaboration skills, who is receptive and can communicate well with clients, colleagues, managers, and other partners in a way adapted to the individual you meet. You have a good ability to put yourself in someone else's perspective and needs. You take responsibility for your task and have the ability to structure your work. When circumstances change, you see the opportunities in the change.
