Are you an engaged and driven leader ready for new challenges?

Our facility in Karlskoga specializes in the manufacturing and packaging of semi-solid and liquid products. The Karlskoga site offers a wide range of services, including terminal sterilization and WFI production. The facility also features specialized infrastructure designed to meet the high demands of producing controlled medicines, ophthalmic solutions, and sterile semi-solid preparations.

About the role:

We offer a diverse and challenging position where you will be a key figure in our microbiological laboratory. The role requires extensive experience in dynamic leadership, where you have successfully managed operations with both strategic and operational dimensions.

To thrive with us, you are motivated by a varied role that combines leadership with active, hands-on operational work close to the business.

You will have personnel and working environment responsibility for the group consisting of laboratory engineers in microbiology and packaging materials, as well as a production hygienist. At the same time, you are a natural part of the daily work and actively contribute to the laboratory's operational activities.

Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading, developing, and coaching subordinate staff in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Driving and coordinating activities within microbiology and production hygiene, including project management and participation in cross-functional projects, such as the introduction of new products and process equipment.
  • Training and further developing staff in production hygiene and microbiology.
  • Ensuring quality and regulatory compliance by managing processes, such as the sterilization process, and participating in internal and external inspections.
  • Supporting the organization in quality and improvement work, including deviation management, investigations, validations, and change requests.

Your profile:

We are looking for someone with documented experience in dynamic leadership, where you have successfully combined strategic responsibility with operational presence. You are driven by developing both people and operations and thrive in a role where you switch between leadership and hands-on work.

Furthermore, you have:

  • An academic education with in-depth knowledge in microbiology.
  • Documented experience in dynamic leadership.
  • Very good skills in Swedish and English.
  • Experience with microbiological analyses (advantageous experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing).
  • Experience working in risk-based operations (advantageous).

We place great emphasis on personal qualities; we believe you are:

  • Secure and clear in your leadership: creating structure, setting boundaries, driving change forward, and building trust.
  • Egoless: helping out where needed and sharing knowledge.
  • Close to operations: enjoying dialogue with employees to create functional solutions.
  • Solution-oriented: flexible, adaptable, and finding ways forward.
