As electronics become increasingly sophisticated, the demands for performance, energy efficiency, and reliability are rising. To meet these requirements, Nolato Silikonteknik develops advanced material solutions that help customers worldwide manage heat in some of today's most technology-intensive applications.

We are now looking for a Field Application Engineer Thermal who wants to drive development forward in an international role where technology, customer relations, and business development intersect.

A global role at the forefront of technology

Nolato Silikonteknik develops advanced Thermal Interface Materials (TIM) within the Compatherm portfolio, materials used to dissipate heat in electronics where high demands are placed on performance and reliability. The solutions are used in telecom, data centers, automotive, medical technology, industrial applications, and defense.

As a Field Application Engineer Thermal, you will play a central role in Nolato's continued development in this area. You will contribute to customer and development projects, future product solutions, and serve as a key link between customers, development, production, and sales.

The role combines technical expertise with project management, customer dialogue, and business understanding. You will work closely with both customers and colleagues to identify needs, evaluate solutions, and ensure that projects create value for all parties.

You will also become a key technical partner to the marketing and sales organization, contributing expertise in customer dialogues, technical presentations, calculations, quotation work, and product evaluations. Through your knowledge, you will help customers and colleagues make well-informed decisions regarding material selection, design solutions, and technical choices.

International customer relations and development projects

You will work closely with customers around the world and act as a key technical partner throughout the entire development journey: from early discussions and concept evaluations to implemented solutions.

The role involves regular international travel where you represent Nolato in customer meetings, workshops, development projects, and industry activities. Examples of responsibilities

• Contribute to customer and development projects within thermal management.
• Contribute to the development of the Compatherm portfolio and future product solutions.
• Conduct technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and calculations.
• Support customers in material selection and technical issues.
• Provide technical support to the sales and marketing organization in customer dialogues, quotations, and presentations.
• Contribute to marketing and business development within thermal management.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and development to ensure successful project deliveries.
• Represent Nolato at international customer visits, workshops, and industry activities.

Qualifications

• Technical university degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in project management within technology or industrial operations.
• Good understanding of product development and technical customer dialogues.
• Experience in production technology work or customer projects is an advantage.
• Experience working close to customers in an international environment.
• Interest in business development and technical sales.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Opportunity and willingness to travel internationally as a natural part of the role.
• Experience with CAD/3D design, such as SolidWorks, is an advantage.
