Do you want to work in a technically complex environment where your contribution supports public welfare? We are looking for a Technical Consultant who wants to work with the operation, integration, and further development of business-critical systems used by municipalities in Sweden and Norway.
About the role
In this role, you work as a technical consultant in an environment where stability, security, and societal benefit are at the center. You will become part of a national team working with the operation, installation, and integration of business-critical systems within healthcare and social care.
The systems are used by municipal operations and support everything from social services to care-related processes. Your task is to ensure that the systems function stably, securely, and efficiently in complex IT environments.
The role requires a good understanding of larger IT landscapes and the ability to navigate technically complex environments. The solutions are extensive and can be likened to a "big elephant" - success therefore does not depend on knowing everything from day one, but on methodically building your understanding, breaking down complex problems, and working systematically over time without being stressed by the scope.
The role combines deep technical expertise with customer-facing work, where you serve as a crucial link between technology, business operations, and users. You contribute not only with technical solutions but also with professional and trust-building collaboration that helps customers get the maximum value from their systems.
What we offer
- A socially important role within the digitalization of welfare services
- Opportunity to work with critical systems in large and complex environments
- A long-term career in a growing team
- Hybrid work and flexible working arrangements
- A culture where structure, collaboration, and quality are highly valued
Responsibilities
The role entails overall responsibility for technical advisory services, operation, and implementation of complex system solutions for the public sector. As a Technical Consultant, you will among other things:
- Manage and optimize Windows server environments
- Be responsible for the operation and configuration of DNS, DHCP, and Azure AD
- Conduct qualified technical dialogues with customers' IT departments
- Carry out implementations and technical support for the business system LifeCare
- Plan and structure your own customer assignments to ensure high customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with Nordic colleagues to utilize cross-border synergies
- Administer Microsoft SQL Server and IIS environments
We are looking for you who
- Have at least 5 years of experience with Windows Server environments
- Have practical experience with DNS, Entra, Azure, and DHCP
- Have experience in a consulting role (preferably 3–5 years)
- Speak and write fluently in Swedish and English
It is meritorious if you have
- Experience with the applications LifeCare or Socio
- Background from municipal IT operations
Personal qualities
We believe you thrive in a role where both technology and people are in focus. To succeed with us, we would like you to be:
- Stable, methodical, and calm even in complex situations
- Collaborative and considerate towards colleagues
- Professional in customer dialogue and confident in your communication
- Balanced socially - you enjoy contact with others without dominating
- A person who contributes to a positive and inclusive team spirit
Since the team is spread across several locations, collaboration, flexibility, and responsibility-taking are extra important success factors.
For this assignment, we will conduct a security clearance check. To be able to start the assignment, you must be able to undergo and pass all steps of the security clearance process, including background checks and reference checks.
