Description

The Home Care Service in Rättvik provides support and care in the home so that our residents can live a safe, dignified, and independent life – whether they live in central Rättvik or in any of our villages. We always start from the customer's needs and wishes and offer personal care, service, and security in everyday life.

The Home Care Service's outer area, which operates in Lerdal and Vikarbyn, is looking for new employees to join a friendly and cheerful team.

Job Description

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant (undersköterska). Experience from home care is meritorious. You need to have a Category B driver's license and enjoy driving, as you will be driving to customers' homes in our beautiful villages. Since digital tools are used in the work, it is of great importance that you have good digital competence.

As a person, you are stable, self-reliant, and service-oriented. You have good cooperation skills and the ability to take initiative and structure your work.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Formal Requirements for the Position

Protected Professional Title

Since July 1, 2023, "undersköterska" (nursing assistant) is a protected professional title.

To be employed as a nursing assistant, you therefore need to have proof of the protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) or meet the requirements to obtain such proof.

Language Requirements

To ensure good and safe care, language requirements within elderly care apply from July 1, 2026. For this position, knowledge of Swedish equivalent to at least level B2 according to the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required.

This means that you need to be able to communicate clearly with care recipients, relatives, and colleagues, understand oral and written instructions, participate in and write documentation, and actively participate in the collaboration within the work group.

Language skills will be assessed in connection with the recruitment process.

Criminal Record Check

For work within elderly care, we request an extract from the police's criminal record register.

Other

Working hours are during the day and evening, with every other weekend on the schedule.

In this recruitment, we can offer relocation services in cooperation with Rekryteringslots Dalarna and housing priority in cooperation with RFAB.
