The Home Care Service East (Hemtjänsten Östra) is an engaged and supportive team where community, job satisfaction, and collaboration are important pillars. We are divided into three operations – the Archipelago Group, Husby Backe, and the Night Patrol.

In the Archipelago Group, you work in a nature-oriented environment with great variation. One day you drive along country roads and through forest areas, the next day you work near water and the archipelago. Here you experience a unique working environment while making a difference in people's daily lives.

At Husby Backe, you work close to both society and nature. Here you build relationships and meet people in their own homes, where every day offers meaningful encounters and varied tasks.

As an employee in the Night Patrol, you work together with colleagues and are responsible for night interventions throughout the home care service in Söderköping. The work involves great variation, independence, and close collaboration where you together create security for our users during all hours of the day and night.

The operations are developing and expanding, which means you will have the opportunity to help shape the future of home care together with experienced colleagues and an on-site manager.

Job Description

Working in our East operations means an independent and responsible assignment. The work is performed both individually and together with colleagues. You follow a set schedule but are expected to work independently and make decisions within the scope of your assignment when unforeseen situations arise, with support from colleagues and support functions via telephone if needed.

Your tasks are varied and consist of both care interventions, service interventions, and social support, always with the individual's needs and quality of life in focus. Documentation is done according to current legislation in the Lifecare system, and the position requires delegation.

Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and every other weekend. When working in the Archipelago Group, lunch is often taken outside in the outer areas, meaning the lunch break may take place in places other than the office. The Night Patrol is responsible for interventions with home care customers throughout Söderköping Municipality. The working hours for night shifts are scheduled between 21:45 and 07:00. During night work, a manager is on call for support if needed.

Qualifications

We would like you to have a good attitude towards people, be responsible, and enjoy working both independently and with others. Above all, we are looking for you who have a genuine interest in people and want to make a difference in their daily lives.

We are looking for you who:

• are trained as a nurse assistant (undersköterska) or have equivalent education
• enjoy working independently and in a structured manner
• have good ability to plan, prioritize, and take responsibility
• are secure, solution-focused, and calm in pressurized situations

Requirements for the position are:

• good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• experience with digital documentation and using a mobile phone at work
• Category B driver's license (required)

The work requires that you:

• can safely drive a car year-round and in varying road conditions
• have the ability to handle unforeseen situations on your own
• are comfortable making decisions within the scope of your assignment

You have a professional and respectful attitude towards customers, relatives, and colleagues, and actively contribute to a good work environment and team spirit.

Experience and knowledge from similar work is meritorious.
