Curious about primary care or looking for a new workplace? We have a long-term nurse vacancy at Mantorp Health Centre.

At Mantorp Health Centre, we are looking for you who wish to work during a permanent employee's leave of absence for further education, starting in August 2026 until November 30, 2027.

Welcome to a friendly and positive work group.

Our Offer

Primary Care Centre Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centres, Vårdcentrum Finspång, the child health care unit, 1177 and emergency centres in the evenings and weekends, as well as the General Practice Education Centre. We operate a broad primary care service offering care throughout life – for newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.

We are a forward-looking organization with a strong focus on good working environment, development, and health. We actively work to create conditions for a sustainable working life and simultaneously have a development-oriented approach to meet future challenges within primary care. Here, you have good opportunities for career development, whether you want to advance in your profession, become a manager, or develop further through specialization or research.

Mantorp Health Centre is centrally located in Mantorp, just a two-minute walk from the commuter train station. With the Östgötapendeln commuter train, it takes 13 minutes to Linköping and 7 minutes to Mjölby. Mantorp is a rapidly growing community on the Östergötland plain with approximately 4,000 inhabitants. Together with the surrounding countryside, the health centre has approximately 7,500 registered patients.

The health centre is well-functioning with good finances and stable staffing. Our goal is to offer secure and safe care with high quality, good accessibility, and a warm welcome. A key foundation for this is our well-functioning teamwork, which we see as crucial for both staff and patients.

The health centre features a doctor's clinic, district nurse and nurse clinics, counseling services, Child Health Care Centre (BVC), elderly care clinic, and nurse-led clinics for diabetes, asthma/COPD, leg ulcers, and incontinence. The health centre also has a well-established collaboration with neighboring care providers such as home healthcare and supported housing (SÄBO) within Mjölby Municipality.

At Mantorp Health Centre, we work together in teams in an open climate where every employee is an important part of the operation. In our work, we support each other through clear structures and routines, but above all through good cooperation, to offer patients safe care, a warm welcome, and continuity.

We have a good working environment and are proud of our workplace. We are a small work group of 26 employees who work closely together in an open and non-hierarchical climate.

Job Description

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse (RN) or a registered district nurse. Previous experience in primary care is meritorious but not required. We offer stimulating, independent, and varied work. At the health centre, you will, among other things, work with your own clinic. You have experienced nurses and district nurses as your closest colleagues, and you will drive and develop the operation together.

Telephone advice, which is the patient's entry point to the health centre, is an important part of the work.

We also need reinforcement for our diabetes clinic, so experience with or interest in diabetes care is welcome. Our nursing team consists of ten employees. Due to further education to become a district nurse, we need reinforcement through a temporary position for just over a year. Since we are a relatively small health centre and work group, you will collaborate closely with all professional groups. We offer you an introduction tailored to your needs.

About You

You are a registered nurse or district nurse, preferably with experience in primary care; experience or interest in diabetes is meritorious. You have a good command of Swedish in both speech and writing, corresponding to C1 level. Experience with the medical record system Cosmic is meritorious.

You have good cooperation skills and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to make independent decisions based on your profession. You have good communication skills with patients, colleagues, and other operations. We are looking for someone who is engaged and interested in working together with colleagues and other professions to provide our patients with good and safe care. You also adapt easily to changing circumstances, are stress-resistant, and communicate in a clear and non-hierarchical manner. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
