About the role

We are looking for a meticulous and responsible paint preparation technician for a client in Sätra. In this role, you will perform preparatory work for vehicle painting, primarily passenger cars, as part of a workshop team focused on quality, efficient workflows, and customer satisfaction. The position is full-time and based at the client's premises in Sätra.

This is a temporary assignment through Fordonsakademin, where you will be hired by the client for the agreed assignment period.

Main responsibilities

• Preparation of bodies and loose parts, including sanding, cleaning, and degreasing
• Masking and covering surfaces prior to painting
• Application of primer and fillers according to instructions
• Inspection of surface layers and preparation for tinting/painting
• Polishing and finishing to ensure final quality
• Time reporting and documentation of completed tasks
• Collaboration with painters and workshop colleagues for efficient workflow
• Adherence to safety regulations as well as environmental and working environment requirements

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in preparatory work within vehicle painting or equivalent
• Works in a structured and meticulous manner with an eye for detail
• Is familiar with masking techniques, sanding methods, and the use of primers/fillers
• Has knowledge of environmental and working environment regulations related to painting work
• Follows work routines and safety regulations
• Has a B-class driver's license (meritorious)
• Communicates fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing

Employment type, scope, and location

Permanent full-time employment with a standard probation period according to agreement, or an assignment via Fordonsakemin depending on the arrangement.
