We are now expanding our production team and looking for a machine operator who wants to be part of our continued growth journey. Do you want to work in an engaged team where collaboration, quality, and development are in focus? Do you have experience from industrial or production work and an interest in technology? Then you may be the one we are looking for.
About the position
As a machine operator, you work with the manufacturing of springs and springing sheet metal parts by processing sheet metal in different materials and thicknesses. You produce parts in small and medium-sized series using equipment such as press brakes, servo presses, and eccentric presses.
You will receive a comprehensive induction program where you initially work together with your team leader to gradually become independent in the role. You will become part of the leaf spring department, which today consists of eight employees and works closely with other production groups.
Approximately 45 people work at the unit in Vällingby, more than half of whom are in production.
Working hours are scheduled from 07:00 to 15:30 with the possibility of flexible hours by one hour.
Responsibilities
In the role, you will among other things:
- Produce springing sheet metal parts.
- Work with press brakes, servo presses, and eccentric presses.
- Plan, set up, and program machines.
- Bend and heat-treat springs.
- Perform quality controls and sign off completed tasks according to current routines.
Who are you?
To thrive in the role, you have a genuine interest in technology and enjoy understanding how things work. You appreciate problem-solving and are driven to find efficient solutions when challenges arise.
Since the work involves both small and large parts, you are dexterous and have a meticulous work approach. You appreciate order and structure and have the ability to work concentrated and methodically to ensure high quality in every task.
You pick up instructions and new information easily and can make independent decisions within the scope of your work. We place great importance on your personal qualities and your willingness to develop together with the business.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
- Upper secondary education or equivalent vocational experience.
- Experience as a machine operator.
- Experience from a workshop or production environment.
- Knowledge in reading drawings and measurement technology.
- Experience using calipers and protractors.
- Material knowledge.
- Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as well as to read and understand English.
Merits
It is an advantage if you have experience with:
- Sheet metal processing.
- Measuring machines Led2 and OGP.
- Other common workshop machines.
- Welding of thin sheet metal.
- Forklift license.
What do we offer?
We invest heavily in well-being and a good work environment. Through joint activities, such as summer and Christmas parties, we celebrate successes and strengthen the community within the company.
We have a collective agreement and offer a market-competitive salary between 27,000 and 36,000 SEK per month, depending on experience and competence. In addition, a benefits package is offered including bonus, wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK, national transport pass, and occupational pension.
With us, you get the opportunity to work broadly and varied in a technical business with international customers. You become part of a smaller company where decision-making paths are short and where you have great opportunities to influence your work.
In recent years, we have invested significant resources in our machine park, which means you will work with modern machine technology in a business that continues to develop.
We warmly welcome your application by August 16th.
