About the Workplace

Fridegårdsgymnasiet is a calm school with a good school culture. We offer university-preparatory programs, vocational preparatory programs, AST-adapted programs, introductory programs, and adapted upper secondary school. As a teacher at Fridegårdsgymnasiet, you will have good opportunities for professional development and will work closely with other colleagues on the AST programs.

The school is centrally located in Bålsta and has approximately 550 students.

Your Responsibilities

Standard teaching duties at the upper secondary level as a substitute teacher in mathematics on the Social Science program and in Swedish on the Technical program. Mentoring is also part of the assignment.

You will be part of a program team consisting of engaged, knowledgeable, and non-hierarchical colleagues who wish to develop the school together with subject colleagues on the programs. You are expected to contribute to working methods, attitudes, and broaden the pedagogical toolbox together with colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher with a teaching license for upper secondary school. You have good and deep subject knowledge, a broad pedagogical toolbox, and can adapt your teaching to the students' different needs and prerequisites.

Other Information

The position is a parental leave substitute position during the academic year 2026/2027. Interviews will be held on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application period ends.
