The Social Services Department works from a holistic perspective on citizens' needs and therefore has a cohesive social services administration that handles the entire mandate of social services, under the motto "We support an independent life." The Authority Enforcement Division consists of six units that together are responsible for the authority enforcement for all social services target groups, as well as for treatment and early, preventive measures for the target groups children and young people, harmful use and addiction, and violence in close relationships. The division has just over 120 employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Head of the Authority Enforcement Division, you have overall responsibility for leading, steering, and developing the organization's processes for authority enforcement, open care, as well as early and preventive measures.
You are responsible for ensuring that the operations are conducted in a legally secure, efficient, and high-quality manner based on current legislation, national reforms, and the municipality's goals. You lead through six subordinate managers and create conditions for a trust-based and present leadership style. You are responsible for operations, economy, personnel, and work environment, and actively work with follow-up, analysis, and development to achieve goals. You develop working methods and collaboration both within the organization and with other authorities in the welfare system.
You drive development work with a focus on a knowledge-based and sustainable social services, where early measures, preventive work, and early coordinated interventions are at the center. An important part of the assignment is to translate the new Social Services Act and other current reforms into practical operations and appropriate working methods.
As part of the Social Services Department's management group, you contribute to the whole by participating in strategic issues, developing the department's work, and ensuring a cohesive and efficient social service for the residents of Nässjö.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have a degree in Social Work and well-documented managerial experience within the authority enforcement of social services.
You have a well-developed leadership ability with experience in creating trust, clarity, and results. You have experience in driving development work and applying a process-oriented approach.
You have the ability to see the whole of the operation and are curious, fearless, and engaged. You are driven by leading change work and do this independently based on experience and knowledge. You see the opportunity in diversity and know how to let employees drive work and develop in their respective roles.
You have good communication skills that allow you to create context, engagement, and participation. You express yourself easily and unreservedly in writing. You have experience of meeting the media in complex and sometimes sensitive issues, and can communicate clearly, objectively, and with good judgment even under pressure.
