The Department of Neurology is a highly specialized clinic with regional responsibility for the entire South-Eastern Healthcare Region. The clinic includes a ward with an acute neurology unit, a stroke unit, a highly specialized investigation unit, and a monitoring unit. Furthermore, there are outpatient clinics at both Linköping University Hospital and Vrinnevi Hospital in Norrköping, with extensive operations in all neurological diagnostic areas, as well as a neuromuscular laboratory/unit with a national mandate for highly specialized care.

Job Description
We are looking for a speech therapist for an exciting role at the Department of Neurology. You will work primarily in inpatient care, but also with outpatient services. The work is performed on Ward B181, where you will become part of the team and collaborate actively with other professions. Another speech therapist works at the clinic with whom you will have close collaboration. The tasks consist of investigation, assessment, and treatment of adults with neurological diseases and stroke. Performing flexible fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES/FUS) will be part of your duties; training opportunities are available at the clinic.
About You
Licensed speech therapist. Experience with flexible fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES/FUS).
Great importance is attached to personal suitability, teamwork skills, and interest in neurology. You should be positive, engaged, receptive, and have a good ability to collaborate. You are flexible, can work independently, and prioritize effectively. You take great responsibility and are active in your own and the clinic's development.
