Kunskapsskolan in Sweden, which also includes Kunskapsgymnasiet, started its first schools in 2000 and today has 29 primary schools and six upper secondary schools with 1,350 employees and 14,400 students. Kunskapsskolan is owned by founder Peje Emilsson and his family.

Kunskapsskolan Enköping is looking for a driven and positive subject teacher, primarily in Mathematics or Swedish for Grade 4

Kunskapsskolan Enköping is a primary school for grades 4–9 and currently has approximately 550 students. The school started in 2001, and in 2020 we moved into completely new, state-of-the-art facilities a stone's throw from the railway and bus station. To ensure every student reaches as far as possible, we need professional teachers with a great commitment to the student. At Kunskapsskolan, we always put the individual at the center, and we are therefore looking for you who always work actively to ensure your students succeed.

In addition to being a subject teacher, you are also a personal mentor to about twenty students, and we allocate time in the schedule for you as a teacher to have mentoring conversations every week with all your students. The conversations give you as a teacher a unique opportunity to catch up with your students and give each one the support they need at that moment to feel well and succeed in reaching their goals. We want to create the conditions to be able to see all students, which is why our classes are never larger than 18–22 students.

Just as it is fantastic and fun to be a teacher, it can also be tough and challenging. It is then nice not to be alone. At Kunskapsskolan, we have a pronounced teamwork spirit where we share both setbacks and successes. You are never alone with challenges and questions, neither in subject teaching nor with individual students or groups. We help each other plan work in working groups and subject groups. Openness between teachers is high, and we have a shared responsibility for our students.

To facilitate your work and enable you to focus your time on the students, we have collected a large part of our teaching materials on our digital portal, Kunskapsporten. For each subject, there are suggestions for working methods, tasks, and teaching materials. We also have analog books linked to the subjects. All students have access to their own Chromebook.

Qualifications

We are looking for a certified teacher for grades 4–6. You should be well-versed in Lgr-22 and formative assessment.

Advantageous qualifications

We would like you to have a few years of experience in teaching and mentoring or mentorship. We especially want you to have clear leadership skills and be easy to collaborate with colleagues, students, and guardians.

We place great value on your commitment, your pedagogical competence, and your mentoring ability. We want you to be a stable and secure person who can build trust with the students.
