Find your home with us as a Physiotherapist!

Do you also appreciate closeness and community? Like when you address each other by first names, and when everyone uses the same break room and coffee cups. And do you also value security and freedom? Like when you are seen and acknowledged, but have such high ceilings that you can sometimes test your wings. That is what we do.

Sometimes people say that things are not the whole world. But for those who need help in their daily lives, it is truly the whole world that care and support function properly. Here, you can become the sought-after puzzle piece that completes the picture. Or a corner stone that holds things up. In addition to healthcare, our family at the Support and Care Department consists of LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), the catering unit, Employment and Integration (AMI), and Individual and Family Care (IFO).

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

Ragunda is a small municipality with short decision-making paths and a strong sense of "we". Here, we can offer you developing and stimulating work together with colleagues, other professional groups, and an engaged manager. Our rehab team is eager to be fully staffed and is now looking for you, a physiotherapist, who is interested in working in elderly care and being part of making a difference for the municipality's elderly and disabled residents. The core staffing of the municipality's rehab team consists of 2 physiotherapists and 2 occupational therapists. The team is characterized by open communication, innovative solutions, and operational development, but the core of the work is the elderly person from a person-centered approach.

We work towards SÄBO (Specialized Housing with Special Care) and home healthcare in three locations within the municipality. As part of the rehab team, you will collaborate with district nurses, nurses, care staff, needs assessors, and unit managers. The work involves home visits in both ordinary housing and specialized housing. To obtain a comprehensive overall picture of the person and their life situation, we strive for physiotherapists and occupational therapists to conduct joint home visits and assessments. We discuss potential interventions within the team to ensure we work towards the same goals and avoid counterproductive measures.

In addition to patient work, your responsibilities include supervision, instruction, education, and information for care staff and relatives/caregivers. We have a health-promoting, preventive, and rehabilitative mindset and working approach to increase the possibility of an active life with good quality of life, based on the individual's own conditions/resources.

We can offer you participation and influence on the group's development, with room to grow in your professional role and as an individual. You have your own influence on the structure of your workdays in consultation with colleagues. Working hours are 08:00–17:00 Monday–Friday with flexibility options. Wellness benefits or wellness hours are offered, as well as participation in the "Good and Close Care" project together with the Health Center.

Interviews and recruitment may take place during the application period; do not wait with your application, we look forward to receiving it!

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist.

The position requires that you have a Category B driver's license.

Experience in municipal healthcare is meritorious.

We value qualities such as the ability to communicate well and treat people with respect, flexibility, listening to team members without hierarchy, the ability to work in a structured and orderly manner, and good cooperation with other professional roles. In demanding situations, you can maintain a positive attitude and focus.

Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: As agreed.

Find your home with us!

Finding a home for oneself is surely what we all want. But what is included in the feeling of "home"? Closeness to work? The feeling of making a difference? The ski track around the corner? Perhaps your home has actually changed places. Perhaps it lies somewhere else. Perhaps you find it here in Ragunda Municipality!

Ragunda Municipality is located in eastern Jämtland and borders among others Sollefteå, Sundsvall, and Östersund municipalities. We have just over 5,000 inhabitants distributed among about 40 villages, as well as the three urban areas of Bispgården, Hammarstrand, and Stugun, all located along the Indalsälven river. In the east, the settlement is concentrated in the river valley, while the western part also offers a forested landscape traversed by the Natura 2000-classified Ammerån river.
