Your Responsibilities

In the role of Special Needs Teacher with a focus on mathematics, you work closely with students with a focus on strengthening their knowledge development and goal fulfillment. You are part of the Student Health Team (SHT) and contribute actively to assessments, analyses, and the creation of action plans. The work is largely student-oriented and involves:

• supporting students individually, in small groups, and as needed in classroom situations
• planning and conducting adapted teaching based on students' needs
• collaborating with teaching teachers to develop mathematics instruction
• contributing to creating accessible learning environments where students are given the prerequisites to succeed
• working within special support measures where students can receive targeted support during parts or all of their school day

You play an important role in the school's development work, where the focus is on improving results in mathematics and contributing to increased goal fulfillment for all students.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are educated as a Special Needs Teacher with a focus on mathematics, or alternatively a certified teacher in mathematics with a genuine interest in special pedagogical work. To succeed in the role, we see that you:

• have experience of teaching mathematics and good didactic skills
• have good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing
• preferably have experience working with assessments and action plans

It is an advantage if you have worked in systems such as Prorenata, Google Classroom, or student administrative systems. As a person, you are:

• relationship-building – you build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues
• collaborative – you work closely with others and contribute with an unpretentious and responsive approach
• solution-oriented – you are flexible, see opportunities, and can adapt your working method to students' needs

We also appreciate that you have the ability to lead and guide others in pedagogical matters.
