Your Role

You will be part of a section responsible for maintenance resources for electronics, primarily in the Gripen, but also in other platforms. Maintenance is performed on most electronic devices in the aircraft and at various levels, ranging from using subcontractors to troubleshooting and replacing individual components on circuit boards. This means that the maintenance resources have varying levels of complexity. The work spans several different technical areas, including analog and digital technology, software, microwave technology, and measurement technology.

Your tasks include supporting our technicians by writing maintenance manuals and quality documents for both hardware and software. You will also be involved in projects that may include tracking progress, scope, and economics.

The role also involves providing support both internally and externally. Internally, you will support our workshops by helping to troubleshoot complex problems and assisting with improvement work. You will also provide technical support to external customers, end-users, and other Saab units in need of support.

Your Profile

We believe that you, as an applicant, have an academic degree as an engineer, or equivalent work experience in a similar role. You may have previously worked as a quality developer, production technician, or similar. Furthermore, you have worked with and have good knowledge of electronics, as well as experience in reading measurement results.

To succeed in the role, you need to have strong drive, a positive attitude, and a solution-oriented approach to work. You are a flexible and social person with a natural ability to communicate and collaborate. You must also be structured and able to document completed work, both for traceability linked to aviation regulations and to be able to conclude tasks so they can be resumed later. We are therefore looking for you who enjoy structuring, analyzing, and solving technical challenges, while working carefully and methodically. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability for the role.

The position requires that you undergo and pass the security clearance assessment according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
