Background:

Our established industrial client needs two CNC operators as the company is in an expansion phase and needs to staff their CNC machines.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled operator for the company's milling department, where milling is used to manufacture various steel products. This is not mass production; everything is made to order. You will be responsible for setup and machining, as well as performing product inspections.

Your duties also include maintenance and basic troubleshooting. Depending on your background and interests, the role may also involve programming, time calculations for quotations, improvement projects, and certain purchasing tasks.

We are looking for you who have documented good experience in machining. You should have good knowledge of cutting tools, reading technical drawings, manual measuring methods, and general workshop work.

Competencies

We believe you have a high school education from industrial, construction, or vehicle programs, with a few years of experience in operator roles within heavy industry. Programming skills are a plus.
