About the role

We are currently recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients, a retail assistant for full-time work in Västerås. This is a role for you who have a genuine interest in service, sales, and customer experiences, and who thrive in a dynamic environment within retail.

You will become part of an engaged team where you contribute to creating an inspiring store environment and a first-class experience for customers.

Responsibilities

The tasks may vary, but include among other things:

• Provide customers with a professional and service-oriented welcome
• Assist customers with questions regarding products and purchases
• Work with sales and contribute to the store's goals
• Ensure that goods are displayed in an attractive way
• Restock and organize the store's assortment
• Handle cash register and payments
• Receive deliveries and perform simple inventory management
• Contribute to the store being clean, welcoming, and inspiring

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have a strong interest in service and sales
• Are social, engaged, and enjoy customer contact
• Are responsible and have good teamwork skills
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with varied tasks
• Are flexible and solution-oriented

Previous experience is not a requirement – we place great importance on your personality, your engagement, and your willingness to develop.

Advantageous

• Experience from retail, store, or service professions
• Cash register experience
• Experience in sales and customer advice
• Experience in product display or inventory management

About the employment

• Full-time
• Location in Västerås
• Working hours according to schedule and may include evenings and weekends
• Start date by agreement
