About us

NPF Barnvakten offers childcare for families with children who have neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF).

NPF stands for neurodevelopmental disorder. The most common disorders include ADHD, Autism, ADD, AST, Tourette's syndrome, and speech disorders. Our goal is to help as many people with special needs as possible. Therefore, you will undergo internal training in NPF before starting your first assignment. The assignment:

• Number of children and age: 2 children, aged 4 and 7
• Days and times: Once a week, plus one weekend evening per month
• Desired start date: Immediately
• Childcare takes place at the family's home or in a nearby park
• Location: Sollentuna

We are looking for you who:

• Have some form of experience with children, preferably children with NPF (ADHD, Autism, ID, or similar)
• Have experience with low-affective interaction and clear/structured pedagogy
• Are responsible and have a genuine interest in children
• Want a developing and rewarding side job
• Are pedagogical, secure, and calm

Advantageous: Driver's license and experience with visual supports/TAKK.

Tasks:

The tasks may vary depending on the family's needs. Typical tasks include:

• Picking up from preschool/school
• Planning activities at and outside the home
• Acting as support during excursions
• Preparing simple meals
• Bedtime routines
• Activation, socialization, and respite
