MIAB is looking for a Team Leader for Local Cleaning – Healthcare Environment

MIAB is now seeking a driven and structured Team Leader for our upcoming assignment in the healthcare sector. The assignment covers local cleaning in healthcare and hospital environments, where quality, hygiene, service, frequency control, and clear daily leadership are crucial.

In the role of Team Leader, you will plan, execute, follow up, and quality-assure local cleaning within your assigned area. You ensure that the work is performed according to agreements, delivery specifications, cleaning frequencies, hygiene routines, and customer requirements.

You play a key role in both the startup phase and ongoing operations. This means that together with the Operations Manager and colleagues, you ensure correct staffing, induction, materials, machines, access, routines, and quality in daily work. You staff with substitutes when needed and ensure that both customers and employees have a good day at work.

The position involves customer contact and daily dialogue with the Operations Manager, employees, and operations, which places high demands on service orientation, clarity, and responsibility. "Service with care" is one of MIAB's key words and an important part of the role.

In the role, you will also perform local cleaning to some extent during the workday if required. You are flexible and ready to step into the role of a cleaner yourself to ensure delivery to the customer.

You work together with colleagues in similar positions and report to the Operations Manager.

The work also involves using our digital systems for follow-up, planning, deviations, and quality, which requires basic computer literacy.

A Class B driver's license for manual cars is a requirement, as movement between customers/sites may occur.

• Lead and distribute daily work within local cleaning.

• Ensure that cleaning is performed according to delivery specifications and frequency.

• Follow up on quality, self-control, and deviations.

• Introduce, support, and follow up with employees in daily routines.

• Ensure that materials, mops, cloths, chemicals, carts, and machines are available on site.

• Participate in the startup of new sites and ensure that routines work in practice.

• Maintain ongoing contact with the Operations Manager, customer, and operations.

• Staff in case of absence and participate in local cleaning yourself if needed.

• Contribute to structure, order, and improvements in operations.

Swedish is a requirement for the position.

You must be able to speak, read, and communicate in Swedish in a way that allows you to understand work instructions, delivery requirements, frequencies, safety routines, and hold dialogues with customers and employees.

You are quality-conscious, orderly, responsible, and positive. You find it easy to collaborate with others but can also work independently and make decisions in daily operations.

We are looking for you who have experience in local cleaning and preferably previous experience as a team leader, foreman, or coordinator.

You need to be confident in leading employees, creating structure, following up on quality, and acting quickly when something needs to be resolved.

• Experience in local cleaning.

• Good Swedish skills in speech and writing.

• Basic computer literacy.

• Class B driver's license for manual cars.

• Ability to read and follow work instructions, frequencies, and routines.

• Experience in local cleaning in healthcare or hospital environments.

• SRY, PRYL, or INSTA 800 certifications.

• Experience with self-control and quality follow-up.

• Experience with machine operation and floor care.

• Leadership training or previous team leader experience.

• Experience with digital systems for deviations, follow-up, or workforce management.
