Recycling Technician at Lidingö Recycling Centre

Job Responsibilities

As a recycling technician, you will work outdoors and interact with our customers daily. You will help visitors sort their waste correctly, provide information on recycling, and guide customers both on the ramp and in the reuse area.

Your tasks include:

• Providing excellent service and guidance to customers and visitors.
• Assisting customers with proper material sorting.
• Contributing to a safe, clean, and well-organized recycling centre.
• Collaborating with colleagues to create a positive work environment.
• Handling customer interactions calmly, professionally, and service-oriented, even during busy periods.

Working Hours

• Full-time or part-time.
• Day, evening, and weekend shifts available.
• Weekdays: 09:00–20:00.
• Weekends: 09:00–17:00.

This is a permanent position with a six-month probation period.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors and meeting people. You are responsible, positive, and highly service-oriented. You work meticulously, take initiative, and are a team player who contributes to good collaboration.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in customer service.
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Strong service mindset and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good teamwork abilities.
• Responsible and detail-oriented.

Personal qualities will be given significant weight.

Merits

• Category B driver's licence.
• ADR 1.3 certification.
• Wheel loader license.
• Tractor license.
