About the Company

We are a company located in Ursviken outside Skellefteå and are a proud part of the XBM Group. We operate in the Skellefteå area and have many customers, both large and small, within the basic, manufacturing, food, and workshop industries. VBM has been active in Skellefteå since 1996 and specializes in three different business areas: belt conveyor systems, process ventilation, and industrial vacuum cleaners. These three areas are the cornerstone of our expertise and our outstanding solutions.

Your Responsibilities

In the role of service technician at VBM, you work variedly with our customers regarding service, installation, and maintenance. Your tasks include new installations, service and maintenance work, FU (frequency converter) work, some welding, and measuring dust and spill levels. Mainly, you will work with belt conveyors, industrial vacuum cleaners, and process ventilation.

Customer contact is an important part of the role, where high customer satisfaction is key. You are professional and solution-oriented in your interactions. You are also involved in the development of working methods and customer relations in close collaboration with your colleagues.

Your Background/Qualities

We are looking for you who enjoy working practically, solving problems, and delivering high-quality service. Furthermore, we see that you are curious, engaged, and want to develop together with us. You do not necessarily need formal education in the field. We value the right attitude, a genuine interest in technology, and the willingness to learn new things. You enjoy taking responsibility for your work and work meticulously with a focus on quality. At the same time, you are a team player who contributes to good collaboration.

If you have experience in practical work, for example within mechanics or similar areas, it is a plus.

A B-driving license is required for the position. Training in Hot Work and Mobile Work Platforms is meritorious and seen as an extra asset.
