Audiologist for Gävle or Sandviken

In Gästrikland, there are two hearing centers, one in Gävle and one in Sandviken. In total, we have ten audiologists, one audiometrist, and three administrators. The technical hearing care department, consisting of three technicians and one engineer, is part of our care unit, and we collaborate closely with the hearing habilitation service and the Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) clinic. Currently, we are in a phase of development with many exciting projects that make working with us fun and inspiring, offering great opportunities to advance Swedish hearing care.

We are now looking for an audiologist for a six-month fixed-term position with the possibility of extension or permanent employment, as one of our employees has applied for further education. The position will be filled if the employee is accepted into their studies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an audiologist with us, there are good opportunities for professional development. At the Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) clinic, we have an audiologist and several ENT doctors who work closely with us. You will work with both diagnostics and technical rehabilitation. All audiologists are permitted to work independently with wax removal after training, and we use REM (Real Ear Measurement) for quality assurance. You have the opportunity to choose a specialization based on interest, such as the pregnancy team or the tinnitus team. Currently, there is an opportunity to remotely adjust certain hearing aids, and we also offer group assessments for our patients. If you are an audiologist and wish to work exclusively with diagnostics, this is also an option for us.

QUALIFICATIONS

• be a licensed audiologist.
