We are looking for a new employee!

Our fantastic pastry chef/bakery assistant is moving away, so we need to find a replacement. We are looking for you who, together with us, want to create a lovely atmosphere for our guests and serve them delicious treats.

Bagarns is celebrating 123 years this year with the 4th generation of bakers! We are proud of our craft tradition and are keen to carry it forward. We bake classic pastries but also have many specialties that we are known for, including Gotlandic specialties. Our goal is that everyone should be able to enjoy coffee and cake with us, which is why we offer a good selection of allergy-friendly baked goods.

What will you do here?

In the pastry section, you will make cakes and pastries for both the shop and custom orders.

In the bakery section, you will help bake breads, wheat breads, cake bases, and cookies.

If needed, you can step in at the cold counter, as we help each other out here.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has work experience from working in a bakery and pastry shop.
• Is self-reliant but also plans and collaborates to produce what is needed. You are welcome to bring new ideas and be creative; we value this highly!
• Has a good pace, strong work ethic, keeps to schedules, and has a friendly attitude and is service-oriented towards our customers.
• Values good hygiene and wants to make the most of our ingredients before they expire.
• Works consciously to ensure every guest leaves us satisfied. You are expected to be a good colleague and contribute to a pleasant work environment. Keeping things clean and tidy is something you are used to.

The position is full-time with a 6-month probation period, starting at the end of August.

You should live near Hemse.
