Do you want to make a real impact and create a difference? Here you contribute to creating security for people and societies. What you do matters.

Your Role

In the role of Project Manager within the Delivery & Publications section, you will become a key person in the Support and Execution area, which is part of the FSS - Fighter Simulation & Support Systems department at Saab Aeronautics. The section has an overarching and coordinating responsibility for the department's deliveries of support and training systems to the Gripen, as well as the development and delivery of technical publications related to these.

As a project manager focused on deliveries, you lead cross-functional projects where the goal is to create seamless deliveries to our Gripen customers. The role is varied and requires you to be solution-oriented and have a natural ability to see opportunities in complex situations. You will work closely with our operations, such as documentation, while the role is cohesive, handling the delivery plan with those who are to execute it, but also close to the customer through customer dialogues and promoting good collaboration.

Key parts of the project manager's assignment:

  • To keep all activities together prior to the delivery of our products and systems.
  • Coordinating delivery meetings, ensuring contractual obligations are met, and participating in customer activities - often in close dialogue with our external customers.
  • Presenting status, activities, and needs related to deliveries, and actively working to ensure the business is conducted efficiently and according to plan.
  • Constantly working to drive improvements within processes.

You will become part of a very advantageous and strong team where employees are independent, engaged, and communicative. The group operates within a section that, in addition to delivery, is responsible for technical publications and ILS. Furthermore, the section is characterized by a good work environment, reflecting both work joy and a healthy collaborative climate.

We are in an expansive phase with great opportunities to influence. Here you get significant room for action and the chance to help shape the future - both for the team and for our products and systems. We value a fun work climate and therefore have recurring activities to promote collaboration and work joy.

The role also offers the possibility of travel both within Sweden and internationally.

Your Profile

With us, you get great opportunities to influence and shape your future tasks yourself. Therefore, we are looking for you who are driven by curiosity, development, and responsibility - and who want to contribute with both engagement and own initiative.

We envision that you feel comfortable leading groups in change. The role involves many contact surfaces, and you will be important for several parts of the organization. Therefore, it is crucial that you gain energy from dialogue, collaboration, and creating engagement for the whole.

You are social and communicative, naturally building relationships while creating trust. With your structured approach, you have both order and overview, and you work methodically to achieve results. You are driven and self-initiating, taking initiative and driving the work forward. At the same time, you are stable and enduring, and can stand your ground and handle challenges even in pressured situations.

To succeed in the role, we see that you:

  • Have a post-secondary education in a relevant field.
  • Have the ability to work on and drive the efficiency of processes and tool support.
  • Have a good ability to communicate in both Swedish and English.
  • Experience in delivery procedures or logistics is an advantage.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current regulations for security clearance. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.

What You Will Be Part Of

Discover endless possibilities. Take on challenges, create smart innovations, and upgrade your skills. This is a place for clever thinkers, brave pioneers, and everyone in between. Together we achieve the extraordinary, each bringing their unique perspective. Every contribution counts.
