Our client is a construction and property development company that develops and builds housing in Swedish metropolitan regions. The company works with a modular and more industrialized approach, which enables more efficient construction processes, better control over production, and shorter construction times compared to traditional building. Through this approach, the company strives to create cost-effective and sustainable housing projects of high quality.

In this role, you will have a broad and varied position where you are involved in several parts of the different stages of the project. You work closely with both project management and production and play a key role in monitoring the project's economy, planning, and progress. The role involves significant personal responsibility and provides good insight into the entire project process from planning to execution.

The position is a direct hire, which means that the recruitment process takes place through Futuria People, but you will be employed directly by the client. All questions regarding the position and recruitment are referred to the responsible recruitment consultant at Futuria.

As an engineering contractor, you work closely with project managers and site management in one or more construction projects. You have a central role in project control and are responsible for supporting the project team within economics, planning, purchasing, and follow-up.

You are part of a project team together with project managers, site managers, foremen, and other engineering contractors, working closely with production throughout the entire project lifecycle.

In the role, you will among other things:

• Work with project economics through budgets, forecasts, and financial follow-up
• Participate in purchasing, tendering, and ordering of subcontractors and materials
• Handle contracts, invoices, and variation orders in dialogue with project managers and subcontractors
• Participate in construction meetings and support project managers and site management in the project's planning and execution
• Create and follow up on production schedules and support production with administrative matters
• Work with quality, environment, and safety (QES) issues and sustainability work, such as Building Product Assessment

The role also involves working in the project management system Next and contributing to the development of the company's working methods in future projects.

• Have several years of experience as an engineering contractor and are confident in independently driving calculations, purchasing, and financial follow-up in construction projects
• Have a vocational higher education degree or university education in construction or equivalent work experience
• Have a good understanding of contract law, especially standard agreements such as AB 04 and ABT 06
• Have experience with calculation and project management systems, preferably Next or similar
• Have a good understanding of both construction production and project economics
• Communicate fluently in Swedish in speech and writing and have good knowledge of English
• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B)
• Are structured, business-minded, and thrive in a role where you take significant personal responsibility while collaborating closely with project management, production, and external parties
