About the roleWe are now looking for an engaged, careful, and analytical employee for HL Display's operational purchasing department. In the role of operational buyer, you are responsible, among other things, for creating purchase orders based on needs, following up on order status, ensuring delivery precision, and adjusting purchase orders when demand changes.
You actively work to maintain correct stock levels for stored items, follow up on delivery delays, and handle and investigate complaints related to purchased items. Together with the strategic purchasing department, you develop cooperation with suppliers to continuously improve delivery precision, lead times, and quality, as well as contribute to reducing environmental impact in the supply chain.
The role is both communicative and analytical and involves daily contact with salespeople, suppliers, and other companies within the HL group. You will also conduct analyses and compile data used as a basis for the company's strategic purchasing work. For you, it is also natural to work with continuous improvements and develop working methods in daily work, as well as enjoy understanding new flows and processes. As a person, you are responsible, proactive, and like to take initiative when you see that something can be improved.
