About the "Client Company"

DFDS Logistics Services AB is a transport company within the automotive industry located in Arendal. The company operates 24/7, six days a week, and employs approximately 250 full-time staff. The vehicle fleet consists of approximately 300 vehicles, including 80 trucks and 220 trailers.

About the Role

As a Traffic Planner at DFDS Logistics Services AB, you will work in an operational role responsible for daily planning and handling of transport operations within the transport business in Arendal. This is a one-year fixed-term assignment starting from an agreed start date.

The position is full-time with working hours in the evenings between 14:30–23:30. You will become part of an experienced team in a 24/7, six-day-a-week operation with an extensive vehicle fleet comprising both trucks and trailers.

About You

We are looking for someone who thrives in a varied role where the pace can change quickly.

You are confident in your communication skills and speak equally well with drivers and colleagues. We place great emphasis on your personal attitude and your ability to solve problems that arise along the way. You should have a good basic understanding of logistics and be comfortable using the computer as a work tool.

Requirements for the Role

• Basic understanding of logistics
• Good prioritization skills
• General system and computer literacy (internal system training provided)
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both written and spoken
• Previous experience in traffic management is an advantage

Ambulatory Consultant:

You are employed by us at DFDS Professionals but work on-site at our clients' premises. Being an ambulatory consultant means that you are employed by DFDS Professionals to perform work at client companies, where the workplace, working hours, and tasks may vary within an agreed service area. Selection is ongoing, and appointments may be made before the final application deadline.
