Are you interested in intensive care?
As a licensed nurse, you will work on the intensive care unit alongside intensive care nurses and the rest of the team, including assistant nurses and doctors. You plan to pursue further education within approximately 1 year. While working with us, you will gain insight into what intensive care entails and acquire experience that you will take with you into your further studies.
We offer a educational, varied, and exciting job with many challenges. The team here is cheerful and possesses broad competence. The department has 4 intensive care beds, and the staff also partially covers the post-operative department. The department provides service to all clinics in the region.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a nurse, you are part of a team consisting of intensive care nurses, assistant nurses, doctors, and physiotherapists. You work with patient responsibility, monitoring, medical equipment, medication, and nursing care.
QualificationsLicensed nurse. Preferably with at least 1 year of experience.

About the OperationsThe Anesthesia and Intensive Care operational area conducts activities at the region's three hospitals: Örebro University Hospital, Karlskoga Hospital, and Lindesberg Hospital. It is a large operational area with approximately 400 employees. Our areas of work include anesthesia, intensive care, operating room services (post-op and day surgery), and a neuro-intermediary department. At Karlskoga Hospital, there is an anesthesia department, an intensive care department, and a post-operative unit.
Karlskoga Hospital is one of the three emergency hospitals in Region Örebro County. We who work at Karlskoga Hospital are proud of our hospital.
