Job Description
Randstad is currently looking for an experienced and flexible material handler for a consultancy assignment with our client in Trollhättan. This role is ideal for you if you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to become a key part of a well-functioning logistics flow. The position begins with comprehensive training during day hours, but since operations may shift periods, it is a requirement that you are fully open and available to transition to a 2-shift schedule when necessary.
As a material handler, you will work broadly with both goods receipt and dispatch. Daily tasks require significant forklift experience, and you must have good experience handling both reach trucks and heavy counterbalance forklifts up to 5 tons. To be considered for this role, you must hold a valid forklift license for categories A1–4 and B1–4, and your forklift certificate must not be older than five years. Additionally, a B-class driver's license and a crane/overhead traveling crane certificate are absolute requirements to perform daily tasks safely.
As a person, you are a team player who collaborates well with others, while being flexible enough to adapt quickly when conditions change. You take significant personal responsibility for your tasks and communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. The role also requires good computer literacy, and you should feel comfortable using tools such as MS Office in your work.
If you also have experience with the SAP business system, hold a D2 license for terminal trucks, or speak and write English, this is considered a major plus.
Randstad is one of the world's largest staffing companies with extensive experience in finding the right person for the right place. We value our employees' development and well-being and offer excellent opportunities for career advancement. As a consultant at Randstad, you are employed by us but work at our client's site. You enjoy the same benefits at Randstad as at other employers with collective agreements, including wellness allowances, occupational health services, insurance, and gym membership discounts. Additionally, you are offered numerous career opportunities, exposure to different corporate cultures, and experience from various industries, which helps you develop your skills and build a robust CV. The role may involve many contacts, making good collaboration and communication skills essential. We see you as driven and accustomed to working independently. If you are looking for an employer that offers varied assignments and new networks, you will thrive with us.
