We at Rörstorp Home Care are now looking for positive, engaged, and flexible assistant nurses who wish to contribute their knowledge, joy, and experience to the daily lives of our users.

We are looking for two assistant nurses to join our team.

Here, you will meet a warm and cohesive team that strives together to provide every individual with care that is personal and adapted to their needs.

As an assistant nurse with us, you work with interventions such as personal care, activation, social interaction, training, outdoor activities, and various service tasks.

We work with a designated care contact and base our work on the user's implementation plan – one of our most important tools. You document in our business system and also perform delegated health and medical care tasks from nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.

We are looking for someone who is independent, flexible, and has an easy time collaborating – both with colleagues and other professional groups in the team surrounding the user.

You have a genuine interest in helping people and see the unique needs of each individual. You are calm under pressure, responsible, and have a strong commitment to your work.

Working hours vary and include day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Job Responsibilities

To provide care and service according to the decision of assistance and the implementation plan, with the user's needs at the center, respecting the user's integrity, participation, and self-determination.

As an assistant nurse, you are also the designated care contact for the individual user, responsible for the care and assisting in contacts with authorities, relatives, healthcare, etc.

The job responsibilities also include IT-based documentation and administration as well as delegated health and medical care tasks.

Qualifications

The Care and Nursing Programme or other education that provides assistant nurse competence, as well as good computer skills. Personal suitability is highly valued, and experience is meritorious.

Requirement to hold a medication delegation certificate as well as an insulin delegation certificate.

You need to have a completed education from the Care and Nursing Programme or equivalent. Previous experience in care and nursing is meritorious, as is having had additional responsibilities – for example, a special interest in delegated tasks within HSL (Health and Social Care Act).

We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented, calm, and confident in themselves. You take responsibility, collaborate well with others, and have a professional attitude.

It is important that you are responsive and flexible in meetings with both care recipients and colleagues, and that you follow the operation's guidelines and decisions.

Conditions

As of July 1, 2023, "assistant nurse" is a protected job title, and to be eligible as an assistant nurse, a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare must be provided.

To be employed, you need to show an extract from the police record (form 442.3 – control of own information according to Section 9, Paragraph 1). A driver's license is required – and you must also be able to cycle.

Passed grades in Swedish.
