Technical Project Manager for defense-related operations

We are now looking for several experienced Technical Project Managers for an exciting and long-term assignment within defense-related operations. The role is perfect for you who thrive at the intersection of technology, requirements, system solutions, and project management – and who want to contribute to complex projects with high societal benefit.

The assignment involves taking a central role in technically advanced projects where you are responsible for breaking down complex technical wholes into manageable parts, driving requirement work, and ensuring that solutions function as a cohesive whole. You will work closely with both customer-facing stakeholders and internal development teams.

About the role

As a Technical Project Manager, you are responsible for the technical progress of the project and serve as a key contact point for technical matters. The role also includes elements reminiscent of a solution architect, where you are expected to be able to understand, evaluate, and communicate technical solutions clearly.

Examples of tasks:

• Responsible for technical system solutions and delivery
• Lead work related to system design and technical choices
• Drive and structure requirement analysis
• Ensure that functional and technical requirements are met
• Identify technical risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies
• Participate in release and system platform planning
• Act as a technical contact point towards the customer and project organization
• Explain complex technical relationships to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Support as an assistant project manager if needed

We are looking for you who have

• At least 5 years of experience in systems engineering and requirements management
• Experience in technical project management in complex environments
• Good ability to define, analyze, and evaluate technical requirements and solutions
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with development teams, project management, and customer-facing stakeholders
• Good documentation habits and experience with Microsoft Office tools
• Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing
• Swedish citizenship, as the assignment is subject to security classification

It is highly meritorious if you have experience from defense-related projects, information systems, work towards authority customers, or processes related to e.g., ISD and requirements management according to KSF.
