Description

Our high-quality chains are manufactured from raw material to finished product in our factory in Gunnebo, Västervik. The products are used as safety-critical equipment for lifting, meaning that quality, precision, and "getting it right the first time" are crucial at every step of the manufacturing process.

Job Responsibilities

We are approximately 70 employees at the chain factory, which manufactures high-quality steel chain products for both lifting and fishing. We see increased growth and therefore have a need to strengthen our team. The factory has machines for wire drawing, annealing, flash butt welding, hardening, calibration, sewing, powder coating, galvanizing, and finishing. We work in the business system SAP and use Balthzar to measure machine utilization and availability.

Our factory involves several work processes, and we are looking for someone who can be flexible in their daily tasks and jump in where needed! Tasks may include operating and monitoring machines, operator maintenance, cleaning, and some setup work. In our factory, we help each other out! Therefore, you need to be able to step into different tasks when necessary, take initiative, and be both precise and efficient in your execution. Since our products are used in safety-critical contexts, it is important that you take responsibility for ensuring every step is performed correctly from the start.

Most of our employees work in two shifts, but night shifts also occur. Therefore, the ability to work shifts is a prerequisite.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have previous industrial experience and/or the will and drive to learn. As a person, you are likely described as positive, proactive, and handy. You have a mature approach and understand the importance of both safety and efficiency. Precision is a given for you, and you cooperate well with others.

To take on the role, you must have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both written and spoken.

It is meritorious if you have some form of industrial education, but it is not a requirement. We also appreciate if you have forklift and overhead crane licenses.
