Your Role as Lighting Technician

As a lighting technician with us, you are the key person ensuring our productions receive the perfect lighting design. You plan, optimize, and quality-assure the technical delivery – always with artistic needs in focus.

Your Responsibilities:

• Plan lighting and act as running crew in selected productions
• Step into the role of stage manager or tour manager when needed, with reporting to the producer
• Maintain and handle our modern lighting equipment
• Participate in stage technical work both on stage, in the warehouse, and during tours

You will work with a large and modern technical park in well-equipped stage rooms and newly established warehouse facilities. The breadth of our operations gives you a unique opportunity to develop your skills and grow within the technical field.

Your Competence

You have:

• Stage technical education or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of performing arts production processes.
• Knowledge of lighting technical work within the performing arts field.
• Experience with lighting programming and show running.
• Ability and experience to quickly switch between tasks and roles.
• Ability to work sustainably in a varied and sometimes fast-paced environment.
• Ability to function both in a position of responsibility and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of basic safety work.
• Good prioritization skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Good proficiency in the Office package or equivalent.
• Basic proficiency in Swedish and English.
• Good planning skills.
• Driver's license, at least category B.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience working with Grand MA
• Experience working in QLab.
• Experience working in Dante.
• Experience and knowledge from additional stage technical areas beyond lighting technology.
• Experience with touring operations.
• Truck license.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Employment Type

Fixed-term contract with start date 1/9/2026. Probation period may apply.
