To the Premises and Security unit, we are now looking for a Security Coordinator with a focus on crisis preparedness and civil defence, who wants to drive, coordinate, and develop the work on security and preparedness within the Education Administration.
As a Security Coordinator with a focus on crisis preparedness and civil defence, you will primarily work with crisis and preparedness issues. You will initiate, lead, and coordinate the work on crisis management and heightened preparedness within the Education Administration.
The position of Security Coordinator includes among other things the following tasks:
You will work with the administration management, principals, and other staff in preschools, primary schools, and upper secondary schools. You will collaborate with the municipality's central security department and cooperate with the police, property companies, rescue services, and other cooperating partners.

We are looking for you who have an academic degree or other education within the security and preparedness field. Previous work experience is a requirement to be considered for this position, and we would prefer that you have experience as a security coordinator in public operations.
In the role of Security Coordinator, you also need to have a structured approach to work, good administrative skills, and the ability to translate strategies into operational reality. This presupposes that you have the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, are skilled at building and maintaining relationships, and find it easy to collaborate and communicate with other people.
To succeed and thrive in the role, we see that you have good knowledge within preparedness work, are responsive to the needs of the operations, are a creative problem solver, and adapt the work based on the prerequisites of the operations. You have a good ability to independently plan, drive, and complete tasks and assignments. You are expected to be able to plan and lead various types of training, exercises, and workshops within crisis preparedness.
