About the position

At Meliva VC/BVC Masthuggskajen, we are currently developing a health center that is one and a half years old in the new, popular, and central neighborhood of Masthuggskajen. Would you like to help build our wonderful clinic? This is a unique opportunity for a General Practitioner Specialist to help shape operations and working methods from the very beginning.

Our team consists of ambitious and driven doctors, nurses, and psychologists. The health center is a small unit with big ambitions; currently, we have three doctors, four nurses, and one psychologist. We are in a startup phase and are constantly welcoming new patients. We are also currently advertising for a Child Health Nurse (BHV) as the number of children is constantly increasing. We emphasize collegiality and collaboration, and at our clinic, we value initiative, respect, and a solution-oriented approach. We handle both scheduled and urgent visits. We have a drop-in clinic every morning for both doctors and nurses. We encourage initiative, participation in development projects, and for you to contribute your expertise to the improvement of our operations.

We are looking for you who:

• Are a specialist in general medicine
• Fluently speak and write Swedish and English
• Have good communication skills and work professionally and empathetically
• Enjoy teamwork but are also self-motivated
• Actively contribute to operational development and quality assurance
• Have a holistic perspective on patient needs and the mission of primary care
• Preferably have supervision training (TYK/AT/ST/BT) and an interest in lifestyle interventions and women's health.
• Are interested in nutrition, health, exercise, and a holistic view, and preferably have some extra knowledge of research in these fields.
• Are flexible and enjoy working with drop-in clinics without triage, as well as stepping into other professions' tasks when needed.
• Are unpretentious and open to collaboration with all professional categories at the health center.
• Have good communication skills and a talent for building good relationships with both patients and colleagues.
