Medpro Clinic Lilla Edet is part of Medtanken Group, which has 10 established Young People's Mental Health teams. We have good knowledge and experience within our group in driving and developing work in primary care.

Job Responsibilities

Here, you work with the mental health of children and young people from a primary care perspective, which means short interventions and self-help support. We value our accessibility highly. The intensity of treatment is adapted to the patient's need for care. Sometimes one or a few visits are enough. The goal is for the patient to increase their quality of life and function better in their daily lives. UPH also has a collaboration mandate, so we collaborate broadly and consult with other activities that meet children, young people, and parents.

We work with assessments, provide advice and support, and offer interventions both physically and digitally. We offer a wide range of group interventions for parents, children, and young people in need of primary care services for mild mental health issues. We also offer individual therapies based on primary care-adapted cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).

In addition to close collaboration with other professions at the health center, you will become part of our UPH network within the group, where we currently have approximately 60 employees in the field. We have regular network work where there is an opportunity for collegial collaboration and support.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist with a CBT focus or a healthcare counselor. You have at least 1 year of previous experience in clinical work with children, young people, and parents.

You enjoy working both independently and in a team. You feel confident and comfortable in your professional role, are engaged, and contribute to a good work climate.

Personal suitability and the ability to fit into the team are of utmost importance.

Scope: Full-time

Employment Type: Permanent position, with a 6-month probationary period
