Your main task is to help others feel good. You do this through social activities, providing support in daily chores, as well as care and welfare. The work is carried out based on clear planning and routines. You work together with engaged and knowledgeable colleagues. There is great variation in the type of help different people want and need, giving you the opportunity to choose a department with tasks that suit you.

Working in care and welfare usually involves scheduled day, evening, weekend, and night shifts. Please specify in your application if you wish to work night shifts.

Qualifications and Merits

Experience is highly valued, but we are happy to train you if you are working in care for the first time. Our goal is for your time to be both fun and educational, so we meet you where you are and fill in your knowledge gaps during the introduction period.

We place great importance on personal suitability. This means you are flexible and confident in your professional role, and can work both independently and in a team. We value good cooperation skills and a professional attitude. Since you work closely with users, you should have a strong interest in people, patience, and the ability to understand the user's situation. A good approach towards users and their relatives is considered essential.

We would appreciate it if you had knowledge of minority languages, such as Sami, Meänkieli, or Finnish. A driver's license is required for work within home care services. You must be at least 18 years old to work with us.

Meritorious qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Health and Care Program (Vård- och omsorgsprogrammet)
• Professional experience
