About the role

We are seeking a careful and safety-conscious large forklift driver for our operations. In this role, you are responsible for handling material flows and transportation in an industrial environment where safety, quality, and structure are the focus. The work is varied and includes everything from transporting liquid steel to handling scrap and inventory, requiring both flexibility and responsibility.

Main responsibilities

• Transport of liquid steel
• Loading/unloading, handling materials to other departments.
• Handling of scrap (weighing, identification, sorting, bagging, etc.)
• Incoming goods control
• All kinds of transportation with forklift and loading machine
• Maintaining order and structure in the scrap yard
• Snow clearing, sanding, and sweeping of the area
• Maintenance and care of vehicles and machinery

About you

You are safety-conscious and have a strong awareness of risks, while also working with quality awareness and paying attention to deviations. You take great responsibility in your work and are meticulous in what you do. This role suits you if you are flexible and enjoy varied tasks. You have good collaboration skills but can also work independently when needed. Additionally, you are structured and actively contribute to order and tidiness in the workplace.

Requirements:

• Forklift license
• Category B driver's license
• Experience driving large forklifts and/or loading machines
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Basic computer skills for handling inventory and deliveries
• Ability to work in a structured manner with a focus on safety

Preferred qualifications:

• Good experience working in an industrial environment

Location: Söderfors

Scope: Full-time position, 4-shift system, start date according to agreement.
