Are you solution-oriented and want to contribute to creating efficient and sustainable transport solutions? With us, you ensure that our transports and customs matters are planned and executed with high quality, precision, and efficiency. Do you want to work with tasks that ensure we contribute to making Sweden and the world safer? Then you might be the one we are looking for.
About the role
As a freight forwarder, you work with planning, coordinating, and administering logistics and warehouse flows, ensuring that domestic and international transports and related processes are carried out with high quality and in accordance with current regulations. You become an important part of the operations and contribute to the efficient handling of goods, equipment, and information throughout the entire supply chain.
The work includes both administrative and operational tasks. You handle inbound and outbound deliveries, customs clearance, transport planning, warehouse administration, and documentation in relevant systems. At the same time, you are involved in practical operations through receiving equipment, loading and unloading, and handling goods and transports.
The role involves many points of contact and close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. Since warehouse management and physical handling of equipment are a natural part of the job, the position requires good physical capacity.
The position is located in Stockholm or Arboga. On-call duties may occur. Approximately 50% of the role consists of international travel, with regular domestic travel as well.
About you
We are looking for you who have completed upper secondary education or equivalent competence acquired in another way that we assess as equivalent. You have relevant and current experience working in warehousing, logistics, transport administration, or similar operations. The position requires very good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing in Swedish and English, good computer skills, and a valid B driver's license.
It is an advantage if you have education within freight forwarding, logistics, or the transport sector. Experience with forwarding services, transport bookings, logistics planning, and working in business and warehouse systems is also considered meritorious.
Furthermore, we would appreciate if you have knowledge of transport terms, such as Incoterms, transport document handling, and current customs regulations within the EU, including free trade agreements and customs suspensions. Knowledge of preparing customs declarations for import, export, and transit is also meritorious. Experience from international operations or work in a military environment is an advantage, as is knowledge of military equipment. Knowledge of Polish, Ukrainian, or Russian, as well as holding a forklift license, are also considered meritorious.
Personal qualities are of great importance to us. We welcome applicants with different backgrounds and experiences and are looking for you who have good teamwork skills and contribute to a good collaboration by being receptive and constructive in contact with others. You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and drive the work forward on your own initiative. Furthermore, you work in a structured and quality-conscious manner with a focus on accuracy and achieving good results. The role also requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to changed conditions and tasks.
