Arenahotellet is looking for a Part-time Receptionist (60-70%)!

Are you our new star in the reception?
As a receptionist, you are our face to the outside world and a key person in the guest experience. You meet our guests with warmth, efficiency, and professional service, helping to drive the business forward.
About you:
As a receptionist, you are the first person our guests meet, making you one of our most important employees. We are looking for you who are passionate about delivering top-class service and see sales as a natural part of a positive guest experience. You enjoy meeting people, have an easy time building good relationships, and inspire trust from the first contact. You are proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented, and you keep your cool even at a high pace where you can quickly prioritize correctly. Since we are open 24/7, 365 days a year, you are comfortable working with varying hours. You are a team player who contributes to a positive work environment and is a considerate colleague. Your role has great significance for how the guest experiences their stay, so it is important that you have good knowledge of the hotel's daily operations and what is happening in our surroundings. Through this, you can contribute to giving every guest an exceptional service experience.
The role includes:
- Responsibility for the daily operation of the reception during your shift
- Coordinating all departments to meet guest needs
- Performing administrative tasks
- Receiving bookings via phone and email
- Check-in and check-out procedures
- Upselling and cash handling
- Ensuring set goals are met daily
- Supporting other departments as needed
We are looking for someone who has
- At least 2 years of experience in the service industry
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Good computer skills
Merits
- Experience with administrative tasks
- High school education in Hotel and Restaurant Management or similar
- Experience coordinating daily operations
- Experience with the hotel system Jupiter
Additional information:
The position is a parental leave substitute with a start date to be agreed upon in September, extending until January 2027. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. Working hours follow the hotel's operations, meaning work on evenings, weekends, and holidays is included. The employment is covered by a collective agreement with the Hotel and Restaurant Union (HRF), and the salary is set according to the current agreement.
