Are you a trained butcher who is passionate about food, sales, and first-class service? Then you are exactly who we are looking for!
We are now looking for a new employee with good initiative and positive energy for our store Stora Coop Hallarna in Halmstad. We want you to be trained and have experience in butchery, work efficiently with high precision, and actively work to reduce waste. You deliver high quality, both in product handling and in your professional customer service.
As a person, you are creative, happy to offer suggestions and ideas, and work well in a team. You have an eye for detail and a commitment to creating a welcoming, sales-oriented, and inspiring store environment. You are driven by challenges, see opportunities, and have a desire to constantly develop and improve both the business and yourself.
You will primarily work with butchery, deboning, and trimming of meat, but some work will also be assigned to the store's delicatessen department.
Together with your colleagues, you will be the face of the store, and for you, the customer is always number one. You have an easy time building long-term customer relationships and have the ability to inspire customers to shop with joy. You enjoy being on the move and working physically. Working in a store offers varied work in sometimes fast-paced environments, and it is important that you feel comfortable handling stressful situations.
Previous experience and training in butchery are required, including experience with safe knife handling and machinery. The work involves spending most of your working day in cold rooms, as well as heavy lifting and is physically demanding. Knowledge of routines and food hygiene is required. Previous experience in delicatessen work is an advantage, but personal suitability is equally important to us at Coop.
The position is a part-time temporary position, 25 hours/week, with an start date by agreement until September 30, 2026, with a good chance of extension. Recruitment is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
