At the Health and Medical Care Unit, we have gathered all licensed personnel working within care and nursing. We are a wonderful team consisting of nurses, rehabilitation staff, a nursing assistant, an administrator, and two managers. We have close cooperation to ensure professional and person-centered care.

Our health and medical care responsibilities include patients in ordinary housing, the municipality's special housing forms, daily activities within elderly care and functional support, as well as short-term housing.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse, you perform usual tasks such as medication management, counseling to care staff, etc. You have contact with doctors and other healthcare providers. You document in the municipality's data journal system Procapita and follow the laws and guidelines that exist in the operations. The tasks are varied, including among other things:

• Perform planned home visits to e.g., connect TPN, change dressings, take samples.
• Go out for urgent assessments when necessary.
• Care for patients at the end of life.
• Contact and support for relatives.
• Safe and traceable documentation.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse (RN)
• Category B Driver's License

Merits:

• Previous work within geriatrics, elderly care, or home healthcare
• Further education is highly meritorious, preferably as a District Nurse
• Experienced in documenting in Procapita
• Good computer skills

Within the Care Administration, we apply extracts from the criminal record register prior to employment.

We Offer

We offer a permanent position with working hours during the day, evening, and currently every fourth weekend.
