Staff Officer, Infrastructure Focus, A 9
About the Position
Do you want to be part of establishing one of the new regiments that the Swedish Armed Forces have been tasked with setting up? The Government has decided to increase defense capability by re-establishing several regiments, including Bergslagens Artillery Regiment, A 9, in Kristinehamn.
The regiment will be responsible for the training of two to three artillery battalions, including for the brigades in southern Sweden.
We are now looking for a Staff Officer with an infrastructure focus for Bergslagens Artillery Regiment, A 9.
Main Responsibilities
As a staff officer with an infrastructure focus, you will work both independently and/or in temporarily assembled working groups. The work will vary in nature and scope, where a flexible approach and task adaptation are prerequisites for achieving expected results. Examples of areas of responsibility include:
Health care and physical training are a natural part of the work for all personnel in the Swedish Armed Forces.

Meritorious Requirements
Experience of working at battalion/regiment staff level.
Experience of short- and long-term planning.
Experience with infrastructure issues in the Swedish Armed Forces.
Other Information
The employment is a permanent full-time position and begins with a six-month probationary period for applicants who are not currently employed by the Swedish Armed Forces.
Start date according to agreement.
Individual salary setting applies.
The workplace is in Kristinehamn.
The work involves some domestic business trips and occasional overnight stays.
Working conditions usually involve a 40-hour work week, but sometimes occur at irregular times, e.g., during training conditions.
You will be war-placed in your position.
