About the role

Do you have an interest in logistics and want to work in a key function where structure and efficiency are in focus? We are now looking for a warehouse worker for our client's operations in Västerås, following an upcoming retirement.

As a warehouse worker, you will become part of a team responsible for handling goods correctly, safely, and on time. The role involves both practical work and a significant administrative component, requiring you to be comfortable working with various IT systems and have good computer skills. You will work both independently and together with your colleagues to ensure a well-organized warehouse and smooth handling of both incoming and outgoing materials.

Main responsibilities

• Receive, check, and register incoming deliveries
• Label, sort, and place goods in the correct location in the warehouse
• Pick, pack, and book transport for outgoing orders
• Pick and prepare orders for the workshop
• Conduct stocktakes and inventory checks
• Ensure order and tidiness and follow safety routines
• Operate forklifts and wheel loaders
• Handle submitted warranty parts
• Administer returns of new parts to the main warehouse

About you

You have a high sense of service and enjoy working methodically and in an organized manner. Qualifications

• Good system and computer skills
• Experience in warehouse work
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Forklift license
• Fluent Swedish

About the employment

The position of warehouse worker is a consultancy assignment. The role is part of our personnel leasing service, meaning you are employed by us at Adecco but work at the client's site. The employment is full-time. The assignment starts in August and runs for 6 months, with good opportunities for extension.
