Euromaint offers qualified technical maintenance that meets customers' needs for well-functioning vehicle fleets. We have a network of workshops from Luleå in the north to Malmö in the south. Many of Sweden's leading specialists in railway vehicle maintenance work with us. Euromaint has a turnover of approx. 1,500 MSEK and around 1,000 employees (2021). Euromaint has been owned by the listed Spanish train manufacturer CAF since July 2019.

Job Description

Euromaint continues to grow in Notviken and is now looking for a train technician with strong electrical expertise who wants to contribute to a safe, efficient, and modern railway operation. Here, you will work with troubleshooting, maintenance, and modernization of railway vehicles – with a focus on electrical systems, safety, and quality.

You will become part of an engaged team where technical competence, collaboration, and development are at the center.

About the Role

As a train technician with electrical expertise, you play a central role in ensuring that our vehicles are electrically operational and meet high demands for function, safety, and availability. Electrical systems are a critical part of the vehicles' function, making your expertise crucial in daily work.

Main Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical and electronic systems in railway vehicles
• Work with 24V, low-voltage, and high-voltage systems
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, drawings, and technical documentation
• Document performed work and technical deviations in our systems
• Participate in conversions, upgrades, and modernization projects with a focus on electrical systems
• Actively contribute to a safe, structured, and orderly work environment

The work is carried out both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues. We value initiative, responsibility, and active improvement work.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Upper secondary education in electricity, or alternatively industrial or vehicle technology with a clear electrical focus
• Experience in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance within vehicles, industry, or similar operations
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Computer literacy and a structured, meticulous way of working

Merits

• Experience working with railway vehicles or other heavy vehicles
• Practical experience with measurement technology (e.g., multimeter)
• Experience working with electrical diagrams and technical documentation
• Knowledge of Lean Production
• Strong technical interest and willingness to develop within electricity and vehicle technology

Employment Type: Permanent with a six-month probationary period
